What is scuba diving?
The word "dive" actually comes from the self-contained acronym for the word underwater rebreather, which is what scuba divers basically use to breathe underwater. In the past, scuba diving was only done by holding your breath or pumping air in from the ground, which required the diver to move around and have an air line attached. Scuba diving, on the other hand, allows divers to move more freely because they no longer need to be limited by the distance of the air line. Surface supply and scuba diving differ from snorkeling and freediving in terms of the length of time a diver can remain underwater. Snorkeling and freediving rely entirely on the diver holding their breath for as long as possible.
Reasons to go scuba diving
Now, some may say that diving once or twice is great. However, some people think that it is something you can do on a regular basis and you won't get bored. People dive for a variety of reasons; some dive to see the beauty of the marine life under the ocean, some feel the thrilling thrill of finding wrecks or caves very active at the bottom, some dive into the sea to take fantastic pictures of the colorful marine world, and some enjoy the experience of being underwater and seeing a refreshing world removed from us. Whatever the reason, it's enough that you want to go back again and again.
Scuba diving is very inclusive - almost anyone can do it. People from all walks of life, ages 8 and up, can try to experience marine life through scuba diving. Because scuba diving can be done anywhere there is water, it is equally inclusive.
